L’Union Française de la Bijouterie, Joaillerie, Orfèvrerie, des Pierres et des Perles, is a French organization whose role is to unite jewelers working with precious metals, gemstones and pearls. It pays tribute to their skills and expertise with a postage stamp depicting a contemporary-design necklace, a tiara, a jeweler’s loupe and various other tools, and it perfectly complements the stamps devoted to minerals launched earlier this year by La Poste.
