On November 9th in Paris, Christie’s is selling a crocodile bag with a solid gold clasp paved with 10 carats of diamonds, estimated at between 100 to 150,000 euros. Following the success of its previous sales of used luxury bags, Christie’s will set up a department in London. It must be said that the second hand market is extremely lucrative: according to Bain & Company, it could amount to 3 billion euros, or even 15 billion if one includes jewelry and watches.
