Alfred de Vigny’s bracelet

At the sale of Alfred de Vigny’s collection on November 15th 2016, Artcurial is auctioning off the bracelet he gave his English wife in 1825. The writer’s portrait is mounted between lilies and lions, representing the coming together of the two nations their marriage symbolized. Estimation of this romantic gem: 6,000-8,000 euros.
