Infinitely delicate, these beautiful early 20th century dormeuses are adorned with precious flowers. In the center, a fine pearlInfinitely delicate, these beautiful early 20th century dormeuses are adorned with precious flowers. In the center, a fine pearl surrounded by rose-cut diamonds. Two sparkles, one soft and the other sparkling, which reflect each other wonderfully. At the back, a gold hook with a clip.

This clip-on system was originally designed so that these earrings could be worn at night. They were meant to replace bulky daytime pendants that could break or injure the wearer. It was also intended to prevent the piercing holes closing over during sleep.
