The Navratna of Noor Fares

In India, the choice of gems lies in their beauty, but also on their supposed powers. The creator, Noor Fares, has now reinterpreted one of the most powerful associations, the navaratna. She shifts around, jostles and plays with the symbols, colors, and the arrangement of these nine gemstones representing the nine planets that have remained in the same order for thousands and thousands of years. A ruby surrounded by diamonds, pearls, sapphires, emeralds, topaz, cat’s eye, coral and zirconia.
